Founded by professional circus artist Madeline Falley, Haywire brings highly trained circus performers to corporate events, celebrations, and festivals throughout Kansas City and the Midwest. From tightwire and stilt walking to aerial performance and juggling, our team delivers polished entertainment designed to fit seamlessly within an event.

Every event is different. That’s why we work closely with clients to ensure performances align with the space, audience, and overall flow of the occasion. The result is circus performance that feels intentional, well paced, and professionally executed.

Founder & Executive Producer

Madeline Falley

Madeline Falley is the founder of Haywire and a professional circus performer with a background in live events and contemporary circus training.

She specializes in tightwire and stilt walking, bringing strong visual impact and a calm, professional presence to her work. Madeline has performed across North America and internationally, developing a performance style that is clear, adaptable, and well-suited to a wide range of event environments.

In addition to performing, she oversees the creative direction and coordination of Haywire’s projects, helping ensure each event is well prepared and thoughtfully executed.

Kira Afonso

Kira Afonso is a multidisciplinary circus performer specializing in juggling, contortion, and hand balancing.

Alongside performing, Kira serves as an artistic liaison for Haywire, supporting the development of performance concepts and helping ensure visual consistency across events. She brings a collaborative approach to her work and is often involved in shaping how individual acts fit together within a larger event.

Kira holds a diploma in circus arts and is known for her adaptability, attention to detail, and care for both the artistic and practical sides of performance.

Performer and Rigging Specialist

Ed Roth

Ed Roth is a circus performer specializing in aerial disciplines, with experience both onstage and in technical support roles.

As Haywire’s Rigging Advisor, Ed helps plan and oversee aerial and specialty installations, focusing on safety, feasibility, and clear communication with venues.

Their background spans performance, rigging, and event logistics, allowing them to support productions from both an artistic and technical perspective.

Ed’s role helps ensure that aerial work is not only visually compelling, but also responsibly and professionally executed.
